The simplest moments

I don't usually do self-portraits in photography, although it is something I want to continue practising. This came out spontaneously. The moment was perfect. The sun was shining and my dog Morena was running happy through the forest. I put my camera on the tripod and took some photos to save that moment forever. I still have a lot to improve, but I'm happy I tried :)

When we are present life is full of moments that are complete. So very often are the simplest ones when you know from the core that nothing is missing. Just be there.

Love and light!

Solar Eclipse

We left in the morning towards Colonia del Sacramento, where the eclipse would be best seen in Uruguay. I had been waiting for this event for a long time and I was very excited that it was going to be visible from this distant side of the world. From early on, the sky was already cloudy but I was hoping it would clear up later, even for a moment. We arrived starving, went for some pizzas for lunch, and walked the beautiful old streets of Colonia del Sacramento. At 4pm we went to the chosen location to photograph. There were already some colleagues with their tripods and the people of the place were approaching, despite the cold and the wind, to witness this celestial event.
But the hour was approaching and the sky was completely covered with clouds. I took other pictures to kill the wait and not return home with an empty camera.

Suddenly, when the sun and the moon were already together near the horizon, they let themselves be seen. To say that it was magical is to underestimate what that moment gave us. The sky turned completely orange, the light of eclipse reached us with all its brightness and everyone began to applaud effusively the reward that the Universe seemed to be giving us for waiting in hope. The wind was moving my tripod, which is quite firm, so I took the camera in my hand. It was only a couple of minutes before the sun and moon continued their way below the horizon, which awoke another farewell and gratitude applause.
I am so grateful to the Universe for having been able to witness this magical moment, and I will keep it in my heart forever.

My Store

I've been doing photography for some years now. I have always been attracted to nature and fine art. Some time ago I decided to open my stores in Society6 and RedBubble and sell my photography as prints and products.
It felt weird at first but as I was adding more designs I became very excited to see the results and creatively made me explore other ways of creating images, thinking how they would look in the products that I would like to have myself. I am very happy to continue creating images that I feel very close to my heart and share them with the world.
Here are some of the designs that I love the most and personally use. I hope you love them too.

Green

My arms are so small to embrace your magnificence.
My heart is so humbled that you still give us everything.
If only all this love within me was enough to protect you forever.
Thank you, Mother Earth, for you still believe in us.

Punta del Diablo, Uruguay

A little further east from Montevideo, we have the most beautiful beaches in Uruguay. One of my favorite town is Punta del Diablo. I like to go when it is not a tourist season because life goes by very quiet and there are only the locals.

Winter in Manhattan

I've been in New York many times, it's a city that I like very much. This is the first time I go in winter and I fell in love. Every corner looks like a Christmas postcard. Central Park looks so beautiful covered with snow that I couldn't stop taking photos to every tree and lake. I wanted to immortalize everything.
It was a magical experience to me! :)

Passau, Germany

The first time I traveled to Europe, I went to the beautiful city of Passau in Germany. I fell in love with its colors, its medieval style in each wall, in each little street. It has a lot of preserved history and is also surrounded by forests. I love all that! I really hope to return someday.
